Setting Up Blogger For Custom Domains On GoDaddy

Oh well, it's time to change our .blogspot blog to our own domain. The very thing you must do to change your .blogspot is to buy a domain at go daddy because their domain names are cheaper compared to others.

Now, after you purchased your own domain login to your godaddy account. On the leftmost, you can find "My Products", then click the domain manager. Click the domain you want to edit.


Then, click the Total DNS control and MX records in the lower part.


Under the CNAME aliasis, you can find "www" click the pencil to edit. You will be ask if you want to modify the www CNAME record. Just click okay.

Then, type "www" in the alias name and "ghs.google.com in the host name, then click okay. It shoud be like this:

Next thing you do is to add a new CNAME Record. Then type in the Alias Name your domain. And ghs.google.com in the host name, then, click okay. It should be like this:

After you've done this. Let's proceed to forwarding. Enable the forwarding by typing your domain name, then click okay. It should be looked like this:


Okay, your done with godaddy.com. Next thing you do is go to your blogger account. Go to SETTINGS then click PUBLISHING. Go to custom domain and click SWITCH TO ADVANCE SETTING. Then, enter your domain name. Don't check the redirect yourdomain.com to www.yourdomain. Then save settings.


There you go! That's how you set up custom domain! You have to wait for 1-2 days. But it only took 30 minutes until blogger hosted my domain name

Healthy Option

Everyone of us should eat healthy foods to live a healthy life. How about choosing this healthy food?


Ingredients:

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp minced garlic
1/4 cup minced onion
1/2 cup sliced young corn
1/2 cup sliced fresh button mushrooms
1 cup sliced asparagus
1 MAGGI Chicken Broth Cube
1 250 ml NESTLE All Purpose Cream
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

1. Heat butter. Saute onion with garlic until limp. Stir in corn, mushroom and asparagus. Allow for 1 minute between each addition.
2. Season with MAGGI Chicken Broth Cube. Pour NESTLE All Purpose Cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Slimmer for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.

There you go! Cook for only 15 minutes with 4-6 servings.

Lights!

Last week I bought 7 x-mas lights and I placed it outside the mango tree. Look at our mango tree, full of lights! Our home is full of Christmas spirit and birthday spirit! Yes, my birthday will be on Dec. 24. Nice, right? One celebration for Christmas and birthday. That's usually what we do since I celebrated my first birthday.

Anyway, almost all houses here have Christmas lights. Do you have one too? Where did you put it? Can you feel the spirit of Christmas when Christmas lights are there? ^_^ Advance Happy Christmas.

Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway

Playing video games is one of my hobbies. My favorite video game is Tomb Raider. Usually, my brothers and sisters are playing with me. Yes, we love playing video games and also online games like conquer, ragnarok, flyff, war craft and many more.

Anyway, I saw this game at gamezone.com entitled Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway. This game is filled with action and thrill. Bloodshed is everywhere. According to wikipedia, this game once again puts a player in the role of Staff Sergeant Matt Baker during Operation Market Garden in the later stages of World War II.

By just looking at the photo above. I'm sure that this game is great! I hope I can play this game soon.

Wordless Wednesday...

As you can see, I don't have a post yesterday because there's nothing in my brain to write about here and also, I was so busy in my other blog making the opportunities. But ya know, I can't leave this blog... I love girlblogger.net. This is my online diary. So, here I am posting something.

I would like to write here about my exam yesterday. It was a total failure. I arrived at the school late for about 50 minutes. I manage to answer the 160-item exam within 1 hour... but I don't think so that my answers were right. It was a rush hour! Could not think clearly and understand the questions because I was thinking that I could not finished it on time. Actually, I did a little guessing thingy to answer those hard questions. I don't what would be my score with the exam. Hopefully, it will be satisfying.

Dad is getting better and better!

From the day that my dad was out from the hospital, the progress is getting higher. I remember the days that he cannot walk, eat and go to the bathroom alone. Those days were the hardest day of our lives. Imagine taking care of your father while you do your assignments? It's hard right? How about massaging your dad while reading your notes because you'll have an exam tomorrow?

Those days... I can't imagine I did those things... Anyway, I'm so thankful today that my Dad can eat, pee and walk by himself. I'm so thankful to God that He has given my dad another opportunity to change and live in this world.

Fear Factor

I was watching a while ago this program Pinoy Fear Factor, hosted by Ryan Agoncillo. As the program goes on, I noticed that Pinoy Fear Factor is different from the original Fear Factor that was being shown in AXN.

The fear factor that I usually watch is really different from the pinoy fear factor because usually each opponent are not friends. They compete with each other... no time for bonding and etc. And also, pinoy fear factor is much longer than the original fear factor. Honestly, I don't like the program. Hehehe... PEACE.

Tired and Exhausted

I'm so tired today after the exhausting duty at the barangay health center. We were there at 7am-12pm taking the vital signs of the pregnant women and getting their data. Hays, I'm tired of being a nursing student! Tired of dealing with different kinds of patients. So, so, so tired! Being a nurse is not a joke really! Hahay... How I wish we will have no duty tomorrow, coz I want to give myself a break. I want to sleep for 12 hours and watch TV!

Huhuhuh...I miss doing my entrecard dropping. Lately, I haven't do the dropping. I was so busy at school. Huhuhu... I'm sorry.

Oh My Gosh!

I like Lindsay Lohan... but not anymore. She's been weird or weird since the beginning? Lindsay is a bisexual person not a Lesbian. Hays, I don't know what's happening to the people now! And I wonder why Lindsay Lohan love this Lesbian Samantha. Erg... hey Lindsay! Are you sick and tired of boys already that's why you have this girlfriend of yours? Booo to you!

Friendster: What happened?

Are you a friendster user? Haven't you wonder what happened to friendster lately? Every member of friendster were complaining about their account. Some says, that their friends drop down from 200 to 90 friends. Yip! they are right. My friends also drop from 171 to 19 friends. I can't open their profile now because some user's put there profile private. So, if you're not their friends, you can't view their profile. And I can't add them all again because it will cost a lot of time.

Friendster, what happened? Is there something wrong about you? Others say that you got infested with virus and got hacked! I, I mean "We" want to know what happened to your popular site: Friendster?

Mister Donuts vs. Dunkin Donuts

I was at the city to buy Christmas lights and Christmas stuffs. I was tired walking around looking for the best design to fit for our house. So, I decided to give myself a break at Mister Donut. I ordered 2 donuts and iced tea. I was expecting that the donuts were delicious because of the toppings and toppings. But when I tasted it, oh man, the donuts didn't taste good. It was dry and I don't know I don't get the taste. Dunkin Donuts is much better than Mister Donut because their donuts are soft and very tasty. You really taste the chocolate in it. And the donut is not dry... I mean the donuts are yummy. Very tasty and soft! How about you? Which donut do you like? From Dunkin Donuts or Mister Donut?

Hmmm... google update?

I wonder if Google did his update already? It's too early I know because google did his update last september, riight? But when I check this blog it got a Zero Pr from N/A and my classmate also got a PR 1 from N/A. I checked my other blog but still the same. I also check my friend's blog , still it's the same. Maybe google has a selected update? Well, I really don't know. How about you? Did google update your blog? Hays, google. Next time you update my blog, hopefully there will be a green bar on my page rank. Hehhehe

Hepa B mother = Hepa B baby?

Yesterday, I was able to assist a normal delivery with a Hepa B client. The pregnant mother was unaware that she already have a Hepatitis B until one of the nurse told him that she's reactive to Hepatitis B virus. We were being told by our clinical instructor to be careful on the blood of the patient and avoid pricking needles because Hepa B is transmitted only through blood or sexually. Now, the question is... A baby born with a postive Hepa B mother can inherit the Hepa B virus?

Hepa B virus cannot pass to the placental barrier, only the Hepa C virus. But during the delivery, the blood from the mother will enter the eyes of the baby which can also be a portal of entry of the hepa B virus. So, that means... it is possible to inherit the Hepa B virus during the delivery.

A Relaxing Play

For once in my life I want to be a pianist who plays very well. I practiced piano for how many months but I had to stop. I can't play well because of lack of passion. I don't know but I always love listening to soft plays. This music was played by Abula... nice isn't it? It makes me wanna sleep forever. Nice play...

Cold Weather

It's been raining here for 3 days. It looks like it's still dawn here. The weather is so cold... it makes me wanna sleep always. Hmm..It's nice to cuddle the pillow throughout the day. Actually, I am writing this post with a sleepy eyes with a frequent yawning. *Laughs*. Yeah, I am so sleepy right now. *Yawning* How about there at your place? Is it snowing? raining? or hot? What will I choose?

I will graduate soon this coming March and I'm starting to think what field in nursing will I choose or what field will I be comfortable?

There are different kinds of fields in nursing namely, Military Nurse, Hospital/Institution Nurse, Clinic Nurse, Private Duty Nurse, Company/Institutional Nurse, School Nurse, Educational Nurse and etc. With all these fields, I'm quite confused where I am good at and which field will I be successful? A Hospital Nurse? PDN Nurse? I really don't know which one.

I realized that being a nurse is not easy. I know there are many people taking this course because they think they can earn money with this course. But I tell you, being a nurse is not that easy. You are liable for your actions. Each nursing care you give to your patient is your responsibility. If ever you gave the wrong medication or the client had an overdose. You can be sued for that. So being a Nurse means ZERO errors.

The New President of U.S : Barack Obama

The first African-American president in United States: Barack Obama. At last, he finally won the place of presidency. I guess America will start something new now. A change for their country is what they want. I hope that Barack Obama will be the same through out his term. I wish that America will rise and be stronger than before.

Yey! It's friday

Thank God it's friday. Friday is my favorite day because our class ends at 3pm and tomorrow is Saturday. That means, NO CLASS! Hmmm... what will I do today? Oh! It's my time to do dropping and visit my fellow bloggers. It's time to relax and refresh my mind. Because of those long classes my brain is getting tired and exhausted. Thankfully, it's friday today! *Smiles* Anyway, I totally changed my layout. I found this free layout and immediately replaced my previous layout. Well, ya know, I love color green and blue. In fact, they are my favorite colors. It's very refreshing to the eyes. ^_^

Need to study!

Class is already starting and it means studying a lot of lessons. Just today, we tackled 7 chapters about professional nursing. It is all about choosing the a career, management and all the laws! When I say laws, it's about RA chuva, rules, qualifications and etc. I think my head is going burst with all the information our instructor was saying.

Well, tomorrow will be having our long test. It covers all the discussion that we had. Hays, study again! Study, study, study till the morning comes! Well, got to study now bloggers! See you around!

My Sassy Girl

Have you watched My Sassy Girl already? How was it? Was the romantic-comedy movie good? Hmm... well, well, did you know that this movie is one of my ultimate favorite Asian movie? Yep! My Sassy Girl is really indeed a nice love story. This is a story of a girl who lost (dead) her beloved man and met another young man. But of course, it was not that easy....this sassy girl could not easily get rid of her boyfriend just like that. She had a hard time forgetting her man... she was afraid to start something new. So, she decided to go to other place, leaving the new man in her life whom she love also. She wants to think clearly and do the right thing.

There are more exciting stories to that. I cannot write the whole story here. If you have time, do watch My Sassy Girl. A lot of teenagers here like this movie. Many lovers can relate to this movie. How much time do you have for God?

People are so busy looking for money, searching for fortune, looking for love and looking for nothing.

I admit that I've been busy with my internet life. I've been blogging everyday... spending a lot of time hopping, dropping, and writing here in my blog to earn traffic and of course, money... because of this, I forgot to spend more time with the very important person in my life... and that is Jesus Christ, my God. I forgot to pray in the evening coz I sleep late at night doing my blogging life. I don't know but blogging has consumed most of my time... and I know that's not good.

Just this evening my mom told me to take a break and let myself have a rest. After I heard those words, I realized that I haven't eaten my lunch and dinner yet. Wew! see what blogging can do! It can make you forget your meals!
I guess I need to discipline myself and budget my time. I'm sure my Lord is not happy about this. I need to spend more time to Him! How about you? How much time do you have for God?

Oh man! Class starts tomorrow! Two weeks vacation was so fast. For me, it was good as 2 days only. I'm not ready to go to school yet... my uniform is not washed, my shoes are not that clean and white,m y things are still scattered in my room. Hays, I don't want to go to school! I want to stay at home and blog always... do the dropping and posting thingy. But I have no choice... I have to... because this is my future. I need to finish my schooling and be a nurse. I know, each of us here has stuff to do than blogging, right? Well, I guess I should start washing my clothes now and get myself ready for tomorrow. Chao!
