First Day of Review: ABSENT!

Today is the first of our Review and I'm ABSENT. Well, when I woke up this morning, my head really hurts and my colds is making me dead so I decided not to got to school. I chose to stay in bed and rest for hours.

I took my medicine (2 capsules of Ibuprofen: Paracetamol) and slept for 5 hours. And walla! Upon waking up... no more headache! I was relieved by the 600 mg of analgesic. I'm so dependent to drugs. Yip, every time I have an attack of headaches, I immediately take my drugs and sleep. That is my usual habit. A habit? Yip, a habit.

Stevens Johnson Sydrome

It's my first to handle a patient with a Stevens Johnson Syndrome. This disease is a rare condition common in adults but not true to all. My patient is a child, a 10 year-old girl. Look at the picture below. That's how a person looks like with Stevens Johnson Syndrome.

Stevens Johnson Syndrome is caused by drug allergies, infections and genetics. As for my patient, the doctor is still looking what causes her present disease. I just hope that my patient will be cured. While she's in the hospital, I'll give her the best care I have.

Night Life

Lately, I've been spending my nights @ coffee shops here at my place. My brother and sister usually go with me to drink some cold coffee. I don't know what is happening to us these past days... we always go to coffee shop and taste different coffees and coolers. Here's my favorite drink, Oreo Frappe from ARUMA Coffee Shop.

I promise

It's been a while now since my last update. I've been quite busy at school. You know, a graduating student got lots of stuff to do in order to step the stage. But before I will graduate from my nursing life, let me share to you this song by Jaci Velasquez entitled "I promise".
